Bob Lotkowictz is a candidate who brings both deep-rooted experience and a genuine passion for our community. A longtime Skaneateles resident, Bob is committed to building a future where our town continues to thrive, while honoring its rich history and natural beauty. With a career spanning decades in Facilities Management, Bob has developed the skills needed to solve complex problems, make strategic decisions, and bring people together toward common goals.

A Career Built on Leadership and Service
After earning degrees from Cornell University and the University of Maryland, Bob started his career in Facilities Management in the Washington, DC area. Over the years, he has honed his expertise across a variety of industries including manufacturing, municipal operations, and academia. Most recently, Bob served as the Vice President of Facilities for Auburn Community Hospital. Through these roles, he has gained valuable experience in management, budgeting, and navigating the intricacies of public and private sectors, skills he’s ready to put to work for Skaneateles.

A Commitment to Our Community
Since moving to Skaneateles in 1990, Bob and his family have embraced everything the Finger Lakes has to offer, from the beauty of the lakeside to the community’s vibrant culture. Bob has been an active member of the town, coaching youth sports and serving on the Town Planning Board for 15 years. In 2013, he joined the Skaneateles Library Board of Trustees, where he currently serves on the New Building Committee, working to shape the library’s future while preserving its importance as a hub for education and connection.

Bob is running for municipal office with a focus on practical solutions for the issues facing our community, from maintaining our town’s infrastructure to supporting local services. He believes in fostering collaboration, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and making decisions that reflect the values of all Skaneateles residents.

When he’s not working, Bob enjoys spending time with his wife, taking full advantage of "Lake Life." Whether cycling, motorboating, sailing, or swimming, Bob and his family love being active and outdoors. They also enjoy time with family, both near and far, always cherishing moments together.
